Lessons & Camps

Confident riders start at Blue Springs Farm

Summer Camp 2026

Get ready for fun in (and out of) the saddle! Our campers start the week by learning basic safety and care, how to groom, tack up and get their horses ready to ride. Once they've properly prepared their horses, campers will mount their horses and ride! From thereon out, campers will ride twice daily, play fun games on and off horseback, make cool horse camp crafts and memories to last a lifetime!

All camps are Monday-Friday, 9am-3pm for riders aged 6-16 and all experience levels (including no experience!). Family and friends are invited to a camper showcase on Friday at 1pm to see everything their camper has learned! $450 for M-F, 9am-3pm - make sure to check out our current deals!

  • 5 year old exceptions can be made with prior lessons, just reach out :)

  • Camp is held rain or shine. We have a large covered arena to accomodate for all types of weather!

  • Early drop-off, late pickup may be available - must confirm this with Marcy prior to sign-up

Camp Must-Haves

Camps at Blue Springs Farm are a ton of fun, but we can't forget the basics!

Please make sure your camper is dropped off each morning with the below items so we can keep the fun times rolling. Breakfast in some form is highly recommended for a good start to an active day!

Camper learning to tack up

Water

The more water, the better! It's hot outside and we stay busy - hydration is key to a happy camper.

Packed Lunch & Snacks

Nothing that needs to be heated up, please.

Lunchtime games at camp

Closed-Toe Shoes

Closed toe with a hard sole. Riding boots are great but not necessary. Tennis shoes preferred over rainboots.

Campers do not need to bring...

Bicycle helmets. We have assorted ASTM helmets for campers to use.

Distracting technology. Horse camp is not the time to play with iPads, smart watches, phones, etc.

A chaperone. We love to meet our campers' families, but we'll see you again at pick-up!
