Our Story
Owner and proprietor, Marcy Blue, has over 40 years of experience in the horse world. At a very young age, she began teaching herself to ride on her first horse, Whiskey, and by the age of 10, she was showing Saddlebred horses on a national level. From there, Marcy's career path seemed like the natural choice.
As a young adult, Marcy began teaching students at Double TTK Ranch, located behind Cavender's Horsetown West in Marietta. Along with teaching lessons, Marcy taught horse camps, led trail rides, and was responsible for the daily care and maintenance of over 100 horses.
In 2002, Marcy and her husband David purchased a farm of their own and Blue Springs Farm came into being. In 2018, Blue Springs Farm moved just a few miles up the road to Padgett Farms where it still resides today.
Among Marcy's students over the years are an APHA 10 & Under Trail World Champion, numerous APHA Top 10 placings, multiple IEA National Champion teams, and individual IEA National Champions in both horsemanship and reining.

Our mission at Blue Springs Farm is to offer top-notch horseback riding lessons, camps and overall equine experiences in order to establish horsemanship at the foundation of all riding careers. We are committed to promoting the overall well-being of horses, fostering a love for riding, and promoting a harmonious environment for riders and horses alike.
